"Danayiku" comes from the Tsou language and reflects the deep bond between land and people. Beyond green forests and winding streams, you'll see Varicorhinus barbatulus ("bitter flower" fish) swimming freely—precious fish the Tsou regard as lifeblood. This is also a rare self-built ecological reserve by indigenous communities, rebuilt after Typhoon Herb through village-wide effort into today's tranquil beauty.
